Production technique for Isa K.'s Métal collection.
Isa K. draws and cuts her subject by hand on large aluminum plates. Each piece is different and therefore unique.
The Converse and Vespa models are painted with acrylics, mostly with a brush and touches of knife. The hanging system is then attached.
Isa K. delegates the application of the finishing varnish to a Brive La Gaillarde coachbuilder specializing in the restoration of classic cars.
This professional, who loves beautiful things, applies a multi-layer automotive varnish with intermediate sanding. This varnish gradually takes on the appearance of a resin with a "mirror" effect.
