Pierre Hatf, a photographic artist with a passion for the beauty of flowers and the creation of aerial mobiles, has recently expanded his artistic repertoire to include elements of Japanese culture. His work focuses mainly on two distinct but complementary artistic fields: photography on cut-out Dibbon and the design of mobiles.
Creating Photos of Flowers on Cut-Out Dibbon
In his photographic work, he captures the delicacy and vivacity of flowers. Dibbon, a rigid, modern medium, is perfect for showcasing the vibrant colours and subtle details of flowers. It carefully cuts each piece to create harmony between the shape and the subject, offering a unique perspective to each creation.
Designing Very Airy Mobiles
Alongside his photography on Dibbon, he creates mobiles that defy gravity. Inspired by the lightness and fluidity of natural forms, his mobiles are works of kinetic art that captivate with their movement and balance. Each mobile is designed to react to the slightest breath of air, transforming the surrounding space into a poetic dance of shapes and colours. Some of these creations are based on Japanese characters, symbolising philosophical concepts such as Zen. These unique pieces incorporate ideograms carefully selected to evoke peace, balance and contemplation, reflecting the depth of Japanese philosophy.
Her inspiration and philosophy
Her work is deeply influenced by nature and its ability to evoke a variety of emotions and sensations. Each creation aims to capture the ephemeral moment and explore the relationship between form, light and environment. He seeks to create works that not only captivate visually but also invite reflection on the beauty and fragility of our natural world.
Thank you for sharing this artistic journey with him.
